ANCIENT WISDOM

Ask what’s on
your mind.

Ask a question in your own words, enter your birth details, and see the guidance percentage and answer first. Your calculated sky map and numbers explain the personal reading behind it.

Your birth details needed for a personal reading

Use the calendar picker if typing the date is difficult on your phone.

Tap for popular places, or type at least 2 letters to search worldwide. Choose a result for its birth-time zone. Place data: GeoNames (CC BY 4.0).

You do not need to know a UTC offset. Without a birth time, the Ascendant and houses cannot be calculated.

Add more context for a detailed answer optional

Two quick questions make the guidance more useful optional

✦ For a live answer, your question, optional situation and decision details, age range, and derived chart signs and numbers go to OpenAI. Your name, full birth date, birth time and birthplace are not sent. If you tick “Remember,” birth details stay only in this browser until you forget them. A history lookup sends only the birth month and day to Wikipedia. The PDF is created in your browser. This site does not save a reading.

✳
YOUR READING APPEARS HERE

Start with your question.

Your birth-sky map, numbers and question-specific guidance will appear here.

Transparent calculations and practical decision questions; traditional symbolism is not scientifically validated as a predictor. This is not a substitute for professional advice. Birth times near sign boundaries can change the sign label.

How is this reading made? +

The sky map calculates tropical positions for the Sun, Moon and five visible planets. The selected birthplace supplies city-centre coordinates and an IANA historical time zone; no manual offset is needed. With a birth time, the site also estimates the Ascendant and a sidereal whole-sign house chart using an approximate Lahiri ayanamsa. Without birth time, the planet map uses local noon and the Moon may be uncertain.

The birth-day number reduces the day of the month. The full-date number is a separate digit sum, keeping 11 and 22. The name number follows Roy Page Walton’s English-letter method in Names, Dates, and Numbers (1914). Matching dates are a traditional idea, not demonstrated lucky days.

The decision guide uses your question and any choices, priorities and concerns you share. Astronomy and arithmetic are reproducible; symbolic meanings and forecasts are not scientifically validated. This chart is a useful starting point, not a professionally rectified kundli. Sign-boundary placements, historical time zones and an uncertain birth time can affect it. See Sepharial’s Astrology for historical context.

A SIMPLE DATE COMPARISON

Ask about a connection.

Enter your birth date, add the other person's date if you know it, and ask what you want to decide together. Get a plain answer first, then see the number themes and matching calendar dates.

No name, account or payment needed. This calculator runs in your browser; it does not send or save your dates or question.

A symbolic comparison, not a score or guarantee. Choices, behaviour and circumstances matter more than numbers.

ASTER & ARCHIVE · THE LEARNING LIBRARY

A reading should teach you something.

Ancient wisdom, clearly explained. Explore the books and methods behind your reading, inspect the arithmetic, and decide for yourself whether a reflection fits your life.

01 / CALCULATION

What is actually calculated?

The sky map computes geocentric tropical longitudes for seven bodies using an astronomical ephemeris. Separately, your day number comes from the day of the month; the full-date number adds the date digits, keeping 11 and 22; and the name number uses the letters you enter. Calculations can be checked. Meanings are interpretations.

02 / INTERPRETATION

What does a number mean?

Traditional number themes are lenses, not personality tests. For example, 3 suggests expression; its useful counterpoint is finishing the work after the first exciting idea. A master 11 points to inspiration, while its underlying 2 brings cooperation and listening.

03 / YOUR QUESTION

How does guidance become useful?

If you are choosing between two jobs, a number cannot know their salaries, responsibilities or risks. Tell us your two options and your main concern. The reading can then frame a practical comparison and suggest one fact to check before deciding.

START WITH A REAL CHOICE

Which question is yours today?

Choose a starting point. The reading becomes more useful when you add your two options and what matters most.

THREE DISTINCT LAYERS

Traditions, clearly named.

01 · THE SKY

Astrology chart

Planet positions are calculated astronomically. The circular map uses tropical signs; the timed kundli view uses approximate Lahiri sidereal signs and whole-sign houses.

02 · THE NUMBERS

Western-style numerology

The current day, full-date and name readings follow disclosed digit sums and Taylor/Walton interpretations. Master 11 belongs to this layer. It is not presented as a Vedic numerology result.

03 · YOUR DECISION

Real-life guidance

Your choices, responsibilities, costs and goals matter more than a symbol. The reading turns symbolic themes into questions to test against actual evidence.

Indian numerology has its own birth, destiny and name-number approaches linked to planetary symbolism, as described in Harish Johari’s publisher overview. We will add a separately labelled layer only after reviewing a suitable source and astrologer feedback; we will not mix its rules into the current calculation without explanation.

A READING THAT MOVES WITH LIFE

Return when the situation changes.

Come back to compare another person or a different kind of partnership. Or bring a new fact to your reading and ask a sharper question. Your birth numbers stay the same; the people, choices and circumstances can change.

Use the birth-date calculator
  1. Compare another personSee how two date themes sit together in marriage, business or teamwork.
  2. Change the contextThe same pair may need a different conversation at work than in a relationship.
  3. Ask with new factsAfter a real conversation or a small test, return for a more useful reading.
What this chart shows

The circular sky map shows calculated tropical planet positions. When birth time and a suggested city are selected, the downloadable kundli graphic additionally estimates a sidereal Ascendant and twelve whole-sign houses. It uses city-centre coordinates and an approximate Lahiri convention; a specialist should check boundary cases and historical birth-time records.

The planetary engine is the MIT-licensed Astronomy Engine by Don Cross. Traditional reading notes draw from Taylor’s Numerology Made Plain, Walton’s Names, Dates, and Numbers, and Sepharial’s Astrology. Readings are original paraphrases, not copied book passages.

FOR PRACTISING ASTROLOGERS

Astrologers, help us make this better.

We invite practising astrologers and numerology researchers to review our calculations, explain traditions in plain language, and help visitors find clarity without fear or false certainty.

We especially welcome people who work with Jyotish, classical sources, chart calculation, or ethical consultation. You do not need to endorse the current readings to contribute; honest critique is valuable.

AN OPEN INVITATION

What we would build together

  • Audit chart calculations, time zones and boundary cases.
  • Review source notes and keep Indian and Western methods distinct.
  • Co-create clear explanations and optional consultations that respect users’ choices.

Paid consultations and an astrologer application form are not available yet. You can copy this invitation and share it with a practitioner you know.

ABOUT ZASTROLO

The wisdom behind your reading.

Zastrolo combines calculated birth-sky positions, historical astrology and numerology, and practical questions about the choices you face. The chart positions and arithmetic can be checked. Their traditional meanings are interpretations, not scientifically proven forecasts.

Aster & Archive is our learning library. These are the three books behind the current reading notes:

  1. Numerology Made Plain Ariel Yvon Taylor · 1926

Number themes, including 11 and 22. We apply these themes to our clearly disclosed full-date sum; that simpler sum is not Taylor’s own birth-path method.

  2. Names, Dates, and Numbers Roy Page Walton · 1914

The English-letter name-number method and traditional matching calendar dates. A matching date is not evidence of luck or compatibility.

  3. Astrology: How to Make and Read Your Own Horoscope Sepharial · early 20th century

Historical context for reading a fuller birth chart rather than relying on one Sun sign. Our planetary positions are calculated with the modern Astronomy Engine.

Our Vedic/Jyotish study layer

With a known birth time, the site also estimates a sidereal Ascendant and whole-sign kundli using an approximate Lahiri convention. We study Varahamihira’s Brihat Jataka in N. Chidambaram Aiyar’s historical translation. Its scanned text is still under review and does not yet drive live interpretations, dashas or nakshatra-based predictions.

These are original explanations and paraphrases, not copied book passages. Other downloaded books are still a study shelf; we do not claim their methods are already in this reading. Questions or source corrections? contact@zastrolo.com.

More astrology and number books we are studying +

We have also received scans by Cheiro and Alan Leo, plus copies of Brihat Jataka, Brihat Samhita, Sarvartha Chintamani, and Jataka Parijata. These are not all used in your live answer yet. We are checking editions, translation rights and calculation rules one by one before adding any idea.

Different traditions use different rules. We will show which rule we used, explain it in simple English, and never turn a book’s symbolic claim into a measured probability.

Privacy

The date-comparison calculator runs in your browser and does not send or save its dates or question. For a live personal reading, we send your question, optional decision details, age range and derived signs and numbers to OpenAI; we do not send your name, exact birth date, birth time or birthplace. A birth-date history lookup sends only month and day to Wikipedia. Your PDF is generated in your browser. We do not currently offer site accounts or a mailing list. Hosting providers may process standard access logs. For privacy questions, email contact@zastrolo.com.
